A MESSAGE FROM RANDALL RUBIN, CO-DIRECTOR AND CO-WRITER OF JIMMY & JUDY
To Rachael's fans:
My name is Randall K. Rubin, co-director and co-writer of JIMMY AND JUDY, Rachael's upcoming twisted indie flick.
I just wanted to officially thank all of Rachael's fans, and Rachael personally for being such an amazing talent. The on screen chemistry between Rachael and Ed was really hot. The two of them took a balls out kick butt approach to making the movie and were really into the project. There was a lot of intense, sexy and violent stuff they had to put themselves through to make the film work and they didn't shy away from any of it. Jon (my co-writer/director) and I were thrilled to be working with both of them and couldn't have asked for a better cast.
The film also features some other really awesome talent: Chaney Kley from DARKNESS FALLS, William Sadler from SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, James Eckhouse from BEVERLY HILLS 90210, AJ Buckley, Gay Storm, Nicole Randall Johnson, Patrick Bristow, Jane Leigh Connely and Lindsay Beamish. Everyone on the cast and crew did an amazing job and we had blast shooting the film.
We're done shooting and are currently in post-production, aiming for release fall 2005.



 

Furlong takes road trip with indie 'Jimmy'

Edward Furlong is toplining the indie film "Jimmy & Judy" by writer-directors Jon Schroder and Randall Rubin, who are making their feature film debut. The story revolves around two misfit youths who want to escape the boredom of middle-class suburbia and end up on a violent road trip where they document everything with a small digital camera. Rachael Bella ("The Ring") co-stars. Greg Scanlan, Schroder and Rubin are producing the small-budget feature, which is filming in Kentucky. Furlong is best known for his role as John Connor in "Terminator 2: Judgment Day."

Fox Home Entertainment has also announced the first season of Tru Calling which stars Eliza Dushku and Shawn Reaves. This six-disc set will be available to own from the 30th November this year, and should set you back around $59.98 in total.
